This Code of Conduct must be observed at all times. Its strict observance shall create a feeling of trust and goodwill.
- Members shall observe the highest standard of integrity, reliability and honesty with due regard to the confidential and responsible nature of the profession.
- The responsibility for all the welfare, health and safety of the community shall at all times be paramount to all members.
- Members shall at all times conduct themselves in a manner which shall not prejudice in any way the interests or reputation of the association, any of its members or the profession.
- Members will assist when called upon to do so any member of the police service or any officer of the Crown carrying out his or her lawful duty.
- Members will assist members of the public in any way possible in areas of crime prevention.
- Members will never maliciously nor improperly injure directly or indirectly the reputation, prospects or business of another member.
- The association shall be non-political and non-sectarian.
